Chat Rules (Important Additional Information I Found on Wikipedia)

Here are some important new rules if you plan on chatting in IRC in #conceptanarchy that you need to familiarize yourself with before logging into shadowfire and approaching the forum's channel.

The first rule is that you cannot have a username that exceeds 3 characters in length. A character here refers to any symbol used on a typical PC/Mac keyboard for the purposes of communication in text form. If your username exceeds 3 characters, you may be kicked from the channel and asked to resubmit a username the fewer than 3 characters. 3 is not acceptable, nor is 4, which is greater than 3. 2 characters, being less than 3, would be acceptable, as would 1 character. The reason 1 character would be acceptable is identical to the reason 2 characters would be acceptable: that being that they are fewer than 3.

The next important rule to remember is not to greet people entering the channel in a manner that most of us find obnoxious, rude, or in just plain bad taste. When communicating a greeting to a fellow chatter who has entered #conceptanarchy (the channel we control, as other channels are not subject to this rule seeing as how we are not in control of their content though if we were the same said above and below rules would then most likely apply forthwith and indubitably) by using any of the characters above the row of numeric symbols above the standard letter keys on a standard MAC/PC keyboard. The characters in question are !,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,(,). Now, do keep in mind that these keys are acceptable for use in normal conversation. For example, if you were to say to someone in the chat channel, "I paid $1.98 for my haircut," then that would be acceptable use.
